Hey again, GZStuff.
If you've read my other blog posts, you know that I'm a pretty sensitive guy and that I'm very open to discussing my personal issues with the (wonderful!) gzstuff community. So, here goes...
Am I too fat for Chinese girls to like me?
First, my measurements: I am 191 cm tall and I weigh about 110kg. Only a year ago, I weighed less than 100 kg. :(
I don't mind that I've gained a bit of weight and I'm OK with my body image, but unfortunately, I think that recently Chinese girls don't like me anymore. My last girlfriend said that I was "too big" for her, and I think this caused a problem in our relationship, because whenever we made love, she always cried. She said she could "just barely take such a large man." I kind of feel that it's my fault that I caused her pain, because she said that even though she expected me to be tall, my "girth" always caused her a surprise. God made me stand many inches tall, but I feel I'm alone responsible for my massive width.
I think I eat too much meat. Meat must make me fat, so maybe I should be a vegetarian? What do you think? My last girlfriend encouraged me to eat less meat. She had science background, and her education meant that she often often asked me to offer her a "protein sample" so that she could "digest it all" in her scientific analysis. She always got her sample. Even when I wasn't very excited, she would always work at it until she was able to draw something out of me. She concluded that I should lose weight because I'm "too much of a man" for her. She was worried about other girls' ability to handle me and graciously offered me the chance to go as deep as i could vis-a-vis her research.
At first, I was only a little bit mad at my weight gain, but now it is a problem because I realize that I'm now simply too big and wide and that Chinese girls, in general, don't think they can handle my size anymore. So my question to gzstuff is...
how can I become smaller? i want to be like chinese guys, small enough that girls don't say anything special about me, and
the girlfriends I've had said that while they love the workouts I give them, they love eating out even more. so, should I focus more on working my girl out or making sure that she's always eaten out in the best restaurants?
should I let my girlfriend dominate my physical regimen, or should I make sure that I'm always on top?
should i focus on group workouts, and try to sweat with as many people as possible, or should I concentrate on eating less and sweating alone more?
