Technical issue have I, help I need, where to post such a question I am not sure, so here my question I post.
Facts:
1. I have a (recently purchased) Android phone (after 4 years on an iPhone, so I'm still adjusting to the interface)
2. I have a Macbook Pro laptop.
3. To transfer files from my Apple computer to my anti-apple phone, I need a special program. The interwebs tell me this file is easily found at www.android.com/filetransfer.
4. Clicking the "Download Now" button on this website does, in my case, not lead to any downloads taking place.
5. Being unable to download the requisite software, I am currently unable to transfer digital content from my computer to my phone
6. This inability not only frustrates me but also makes my phone far less useful to me.
The Plea for Help:
1. Is there some specific reason this download isn't working for me? Does the great firewall hate android? If so, is there a workaround?
2. Can you recommend an alternative download mirror site?
3. Can you recommend an alternative program with which to transfer files from a mac to an android phone?
4. Will you find it in your heart to not judge me for, when in want of a solution to a technical problem, immediately begging the GZStuff community for help before first trying to solve the problem myself?
Any and all kind souls are welcome to reply!
Thanks,
JSIN

Comment by Smee 瑞纳多 on September 2, 2012 at 6:52pm I would try one of those Cloud sync programs that exist in both environments.
Like DropBox or JustCloud...
Comment by Seán on September 2, 2012 at 12:03pm The reason you can't download that file is cos your phone is protesting against that ugly yellow cover you had on it last night.
