So tommorow i set off to the motherland and i must say i have had a beeteer time than i supposed that i would,. at the end of it all i would recommend coming to gz and getting to know the city more. A week which i had was too short. you meet enough people and like any other city the taxis will always be taxis.
After been initiated by receiving fake 300rmb and not even knowing i now have learned how to check for fake paper. I lived at a ritz hotel for the first 3days and then moved to the hood to experience both sides of the coin, i loved the hood, everything is affordable, shops never close, and i could bargain for everything. the down side was the hotel was a dump and if you are like me as long as the door locks and there is no leaking in the roof, fear is definately not a factor.
Met cool people here (gzstuff.com) and i thank God that i found this site (please keep it running) before leaving kenya, people here were helpful, funny and as long as you are real then they kept it real with you - thanks OAK, Trevor, Joleen, Joetry........next time am in town, drinks are on me.
See you all in june - the force be with you!
