Some questions about running a business in China

A friend asked me these and I was embarrassed to admit that after being here all this time I still did not know.  Can anybody here help?I was wondering what type of company would you recommend I open? Initially I was only going to have a WFOE but I do have a few Chinese friends I trust implicitly who have told me they would be willing to put their name down as my JV partner, and send all funds back to my account. (I also have Chinese friends who are professional French and English translators…See More

Sheeittt, the website is over the user limit and I'm not allowed to invite more. Accounts are purged all the time though, so you shouldn't have to wait long, less than a week probably.

Please use the Classifieds > Biz Opportunities Section to post your ad. Thanks!

I am looking for a trustworthy, open-minded local as a partner to explore the fast growing on-line retail sites in China. For the last ten years, I have been supplying a number of successful eBay partners with goods from China, for sale in the west. I am now convinced that the time is ripe to reverse this process. There are now sufficient Chinese consumers to investigate the possibility of importing items to sell on-line here. I am therefore looking for a hungry local who wants to acquire financial independence through sites such as Taobao, 58, Baixing etc. It will take some experimentation to find out what products are suitable for the Chinese domestic market, but I have plenty of experience in identifying high margin niche markets. In addition, I can provide you with superb references from existing eBay partners who all all have outstanding feedback records. Please let me know if you are interested in this kind of opportunity, and we can discuss the matter in more detail.

Non-biz stuff generally, we don't like to fill up the Discussions by stuff that can be handled in the Classifieds.

Welcome to GZSTUFF btw. (We have a travel section hope you can contribute there.

Cheers,

Andrew
