About Me:
Whatever it is I'm doing, I put my heart into it. But it is sometimes hard to be satisfied, and I feel that life is far to short to simply settle for the average or moderately adequate. In a world with so many great things, why not pursue the best? After all, it's the journey and not the destination. Besides, most of the time when I get to the destination I find it rather boring compared to what I had imagined, so I think I'd rather just continue imagining!

Hey man, yeah i'll be down in early september so will be around to jam asap. I'm currently listening to Joe Lovano quite a bit, Josh Redman, Kenny Garrett, Chris Potter, in terms of sax players. Pianists I love Jarrett, Mehldau, EST, The Bad Plus, Kenny Werner, Bill Evans, bla bla bla could go on forever, and obvs the greats of all instruments, Trane, Bird, Miles, etc etc.

What are you into at the moment? I'm hoping to transcribe quite a bit next year, and want to play as much as possible, what's the jazz situation like?

Cool! Let's get together for a jam then. This week I can come to Guangzhou at friday or saturday afternoon, and I'm free at Sunday and Monday. Besides that, all the evenings are still free.
