Starting business in China? The German Chamber of Commerce • South China supports German companies to establish and extend their activities in China. With our great network of over 1,700 member companies in Mainland China and an even bigger network of affiliates, we do not only keep you well connected, but also offer a number of services such as:

OUR EVENTS:

Most of our events are business related enabling you to extend your knowledge and understanding of the latest developments in China and to gain in-depth expertise in business and industry specific topics. They provide you with the chance to exchange experiences and to get in touch with professionals within your industry. As a chamber, one of our main purposes is to build a network that you can benefit of. In a country in which “Guangxi” is one of the most important keys to success, we also focus on social and community events.

- German Happy Hour:
Get to know new business partners in a relaxed environment; exchange business cards while enjoying some drinks for special prices. A registration is usually not required but an admission fee might be requested if mentioned on the invitation flyer.

- Stammtisch for Young Professionals & Students:
Less formal than the “German Happy Hour”, this event aims to bring together young people from all over the world and locals. No registration is required. Just show up, enjoy some drinks and have a chat.

- Oktoberfest:
Held once a year in autumn, the Oktoberfest is the biggest social event by the German Chamber in South China. This year, more than 3,000 people enjoyed German beer, food and live music on five days in a row.
