Ben said… - I don't know if this is what we listened to the other night but it is great nonetheless. Sinn Sisamouth, "the Emperor of Khmer music," recorded hundreds if not thousands of songs before his death at the hand of the Khmer Rouge. The website gives a pretty good history and the "his music" section has links to stream an incredible variety of songs. Thanks for turning me on to this and other great music!
