Hiking in GZ

i believe some people here just like me, don't like to drink, don't like to smoke, don't like clubbing.... i tend to live a healthy life, make some friends, walk out of the door, get a fresh breath. Let's go hiking~!

Hi B. Thomas, if you are fast, then we can go hiking in Baiyun Shan. You will also find it good for running on the dirt trails, but I don't run too much lately. Maybe I could get into it. Prefer fast hiking. There are tons of trails in Baiyun Shan.

I sent you a friend request so we can talk in PM.

Cheers, Michael

I'm looking for a regular running partner/hiking partner in gz. North Tianhe area would be best as I live there. Mornings are the time for me.

Hey ITR,

There are a couple of places I've been to around GZ for camping and hiking. Most recently I went to Cong hua, near Liu Xi He reservoir. It's not too developed and its easy to get off the beaten path and find a camp spot. Nan Kun Shan is also OK, quite mountainous and lots of trails to find and explore. You could also head to Shenzhen, i've camped on the beach at Xi Chong and dong chong a couple of times but its turning into a bit of a party beach now. Dong chong is much quieter. If you dont mind a couple hours hike there are also areas that are along the coast but a bit harder to get to, theres small a camp spot near where a freshwater river meets the sea somewhere south of Nan Ao thats quite isolated.

Hope this helps.

Hello!

Seeking a little bit of community help here :). We have a project coming for mid-april and we are looking for an outdoors location that: a) is a forest, b) resembles a forest, c) you would camp the night and light a fire, d) no human made stuff around (i've seen Chinese mountains with stairs, want to avoid that :P).

The scenery doesn't have to be incredibly beautiful but has to look real. So I guess my question is, have you guys ever camped in GZ or surroundings? (2-3h trip would be ok). Do you know of a place like this one? If so, we would be grateful if you can point us in the right direction. If any of you can give us exactly what you are looking for, besides being grateful, Javi, one of the studio photographers offers to do an in-studio shooting/business portrait of 1h for free (www.jmiqueleiz.com).

Thanks in advance!
