Hello! Are there any Guangzhou football (American:soccer) fans out there? Theyre currently the best team in China! I'll see how many people are interested but we can maybe meet up and go to some home games at the Tianhe Stadium!

Comment by Piers Hunday on May 18, 2013 at 10:38am Hi guys,
I created this group a couple of years ago now but have been extremely inactive on it over the last year, but the good news is that I will be coming back to Guangzhou! So I'm looking forward to meeting a few of you Heng Da ultras and having a few Zhujiangs before or after the game!
See you all in July,
Piers
Hi D, the tickets haven't gone on sale yet. I'd expect they may go on sale this Friday (maybe) from Tianhe stadium. Either gate 1, the club merchandise shops or the support group tents (although you'll need to be a member for the latter). The ACL games are quite pricey, tickets start from 150rmb (for behind the goal - where the atmosphere is). Welcome to Guangzhou Evergrande, the pride of football in China.
Comment by D on May 12, 2013 at 10:14pm Hey everyone. New to town and hoping to take in a game. How do you get tickets for 22/5 game against Mariners?
The site doesn't seem to have a ticket link (using auto-translate through Chrome) and as I don't use Chinese characters in taobao I can't find anything! Please help.

Comment by James on January 17, 2013 at 2:02pm Dear Friends
I'm hosting a football quiz night for members of the GZIFL (and any other football fans) on Saturday night in Rebel Rebel. We'll start around 8:30pm with several rounds of football trivia and alcohol fueled prizes for the winners!
If you would like to enter a team please drop me a message here or send me an SMS to reserve a spot.

Comment by Rita.Yu on December 26, 2012 at 2:43pm Waiting for the next season ticket for sale. It is said that it will be sold at the end of January next year. Can't wait...
Urawa Reds and their fanatical fanbase are coming to Guangzhou in the Asian Champions League. Fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by Seán on October 5, 2012 at 12:26pm It certainly is going down to the wire this year. 4 games left yeah, but the big game HAS to be 2 weeks from now and an Away game against the current leaders Jiangsu Sainty on Sat the 20th. That looks like it could be the decider.
Jiangsu Sainty also have a tough game the following week against 4th placed BJ Guoan who are fighting for the 3rd AFC place.
The last weekend we play BJ Guaon away and Jiangsu are away to 3rd place GZ R&F.
Gonna be an interesting month ahead.
Let's be having you all at this Sunday's CSL game between Guangzhou Evergrande and Shandong ... 7:30pm at Tianhe stadium. Your GZ put in a massive performance against the Saudis and should now be preparing for an ACL semi-final. However, it wasn't to be but the fans didn't shout themselves hoarse in vain ! Pick yourselves up, dust yourselves off and bring yourselves along on Sunday as the CSL looks as if it's going to the wire.
