How long can you hold your breath?

Currently I usually hold my breath from 4 mins 30 seconds to 5 mins STA in regular practise. Don't want to push it too much as it gives me big pressure on breaking PB.How about you? Continue

Hi Brett, if you want to get qualified in GZ, we're based in Olympic Stadium. You can sign up for the SSI Open Water course including swimming pool (6-meter deep) and sea classes. (usually in South East Asia as sea water is China is terrible :). We have Scuba diving and freediving course. :)

We practice in the Olympic stadium in Dong Pu regularly. There's a 6m deep pool. Not really deep enough for freedivers, but a good start. Level 1's can usually get to around 10m, and after some short training can hold their breath for 2.5 to 3.5 minutes.

Freediving is open to everyone. We do it mostly for fun. If you have some experience diving/swimming that would help. I am not very physically fit but enjoy it very much. Some are more serious than others but safety and fun are top priorities :)
