Hi all, planning a trip here with at least 2 friends so we are looking for a youth hostel to stay in. We plan to go for about 3 days in early January. Can anybody recommend somewhere to stay? Anything in particular that you'd recommend we see?

@Elvina: There're hotels around Danxia Mountain. It's not busy season, so you should be OK. Or you can stay in 韶关山水？？hotel（forgot the full name,you can search in Baidu）near 风采楼. It should take less than 10 mins by bus or taxi for you to get to Shaoguan Train Station. There you can take shuttle bus to Danxia Mountain and it drops you off right before the mountain.

Hello, I live in Guangzhou and am going to spend the weekend in Shaoguan. I have read about Danxia mountain and Nanhua temple. But the hotels I'm finding are far from these locations. Is it easy to get a car? Most of the hotels are in Wujiang or Qujiang counties. Where is everything in relation to one another? Also, how far is the train station? I believe we are arriving at Shaoguan East station.
