Yep, that's U$1200 r/t to USA and a rental car to Sams Club for your expenses. I'll take two bags @ $14.99. :-) Best dark roast I've found available here @ Guangzhou is Ily's Ground Dark Roast. Vacuum packed and fresh on opening. Starbucks for some reason doesn't stock their Dark French Roast beans here, only in Bangkok. Best price for Illy's is at Corner's Deli market underneath the Citic Plaza building, Tianhe but you can find it in Jusco supermarkets for 20 kuai more.

after much research! coffee by the bean or ground in Guangzhou has come down to : Best buy - dark roast coffee beans or ground @ IKEA, the Tianhe store located between Westin Hotel and the Guangzhou East train station: 38 rmb for 1/4 kilo. Fresh roasted and exotic blends: Coffee Global @ Taojin via Bella prices vary depending on blend but 100 to 120 rmb / 1/4 pound. Finally, why muck around just buy the best dark roast available - Illy Dark Roast Ground @ Corner's Deli, Tianhe under the Citic Plaza building - 128 rmb for 1/4 kilo. Love some coffee!
