Well, I'll play anyone that gets near me. I'm USCF Rated 1900+ most of the time, have played GM Samuel Reshevsky (before his death, lost that game), which gives me a "Morphy # of 4" (I'm probably the only one in China with a "4" Morphy Number; and I met Former World Chess Champion Anatoly Karpov in person in 1995. I played in the U.S. Open in 2006, the Far West Open in 2007, and the National Open in 1995. I'm on the "FIDE" Rating List, but don't have a Rating just yet due to lack of FIDE Rated Games played. I'm friends with IM Cyrus Lakdawala, and have also met IM John Watson, IM Kamran Shirazi (who now plays for France), and IM Doug Root (not really a likeable guy). I played 4th Board in the Amateur Team West with IM Lakdawala on 1st Board, IM John Watson on 2nd Board, Expert Art Gramata on 3rd Board, and myself on 4th Board with a score of 5-1. But we were beat out on tie breaks and had to settle for 2nd Place. It would be nice to play in a tournament over here.
