Start a club?
Anyone would be willing to have a regular session in a common place say in a Starbuck somewhere central to everything?

Hi Nedi, yeah we should get together for some games. I'm not sure how many would be interested in Western Chess since the Chinese have "GO" and "Chinese Chess" already. A club would be nice, I can more easily secure a place in Panyu for chess gatherings, and even run small tournaments. The United States Chess Federation (USCF) might even let me have an affiliate club here, I'll have to ask them to see if it is possible. The better idea would be to play in Chinese tournaments that are "FIDE" rated. I usually play around the Expert level, so a FIDE tournament would be tough for us, but we would get better, after we lose several times to those guys. Lots of laughs. I'm in Panyu.
