Friday Alec and the Alecats return to The
Brew in Panyu with the Floyd & the full Panyu Brass. Yes ! The horn section
is Happenin again ! We start at 10 so get a move on!

Well folks, it’s been a lot of fun ! As many
of you know Hooley’s will be shutting their doors after this weekend. They will
be reopening their in a new location hopefully by January. We Alecats have had a
great time Rockin the joint. Cheers to all the many many great blurred memories
that are ingrained in my head forever. The walls will forever vibrate with
Rock-N-Roll from those tequila nights. But before they go, we ALECATS will
saying Bon Voyage with one last gig there THIS SATURDAY NIGHT. So we ALECATS
will be doing it in style with the full Floyd and the GZ Brass band. Tickets are

千真万确， 管弦乐手不属于这个世界！！！

We don’t hold this against them. It’s endearing that they would travel so far just to give  a bit of their talent for us to hear every once in a while. We always knew that Floyd (our staple sax guy in the band) was an alien of some sort but now we know why he’s so…… “different”. Hey, as long as the music is good and that’s exactly what you’re gonna get at Hooley’s 4 year anniversary party this Saturday night. Get there early to get a table.

As some of you have noticed, there is a new guitar player in the band. Believe or not, he is a not an alien. Yes it’s true. Actually he is a legal alien from Poland who has been on the music scene here in China for quite some time. His name is Krys. We found him on a Polish astronaut mission watching solar flares from up close. Too close we all think not to have an effect. Please welcome him.

@ Sally -  We all have bad days sometimes.  Just do the same (give to someone) in your own way and hope that they pass it on. Go to my alecphillips.com website.  I am adding to the site every week.   Yes, we’re tossin’ anchor and sailin’ up river.  There will

also be a huge dance floor with DJs spinning on the 2nd

deck.  And of course an open deck on the top (3rd)
