Hi All. So Google Play just doesn't work for me and an error on the Chinese website states (after I translated it via translate.google.com) that I don't have the equipment....so I assume this is a Google/China thing. What's the latest on this situation? Where am I meant to download my apps from? Am I just meant to connect via a VPN tunnel? Do all Android users in China that download Apps do this or do all Android users that download Apps flash their phone? I'm pretty computer savvy so don't be scared to use big words :)

I found a shop in dashatou.  cost 70 rmb and 25 minutes.  they said 2.2 would run faster than 2.3 , so I now have 2.2.2 and couldn't be happier with my phone.  feels like new.

@karina.. i dont think you will have a easy time finding a feww vpn for ur phone, suggest you go to www.astrill.com and get an account there , is not too expensive and is good and reliable and u can use it on your desktop/laptop as well as your phone simultaneously

@Perry I saw a XT800 running 2.3.3 a lady i know was using it and had the rom updated in Dashatou phone market, u can check with some of the vendors there

all those apps is free but need account after installation ..

 

then it is the point to find free account some where , already find one but it is blocked to be used in here , any suggestion?
