my professor pronounce ‘something’ as ‘someSing’ ...ugh...

he'd been to USA studying for years, and came back with "someSing". even i promounce better than him

If your pronunciation is better, why not help your professor by correcting his pronunciation?

lol... lots of Chinese speak terrible English, we all have to strain our ears and make the best of it. 

Not like foreigner's Putonghua is all that... including mine.

Ah yeah...same way around. i used to learnt a bit germany, the [R], spring tongue, kinda hard do that thing either. 

It’s German grammar what made me completely give up learning the language, completely insane. 

no wonder u did. and those lenthy words, like Auf Widersin(to be exactly,which is a long word i couldnt memerize :/). ok then, for me, byebye tops.
