Is it really necessary to get married if you're having a baby?
I am having a baby but getting married is not in my plan yet..
Now, here is the question that almost all my chinese friends asked me.
"Don't you care what the other people will think if you're having a baby but not married?"
"OMG! I don't care..."

Congratulations on the baby, i hope it all turns out OK for you. When is the baby due? Mine is due Sept 6th :)
Getting married is your choice and only you can decide if it is the right thing to do.
Personally, I believe that having both parents around is better for the child (there are some exceptions- abuse and other things) Having a child is the greatest responsibility that you will ever have, and being married, or in a long term committed relationship is important to me and the way i would like to raise my child.
Yes my views on marriage and children, and the importance of marriage (to the right person) probably seem to some very archaic, but it is my opinion.
